Interesting tire size on my G as of today.

So I have a friend who I used to work with at a Benz dealership and I needed new tires badly. I was basically riding on slicks. I didn't have close to a G to drop on a new set at the moment so he hooked me up with some Pirelli P Zero Nero M+S. Great tires and great price ($0) since they came off one of the trades that came in and the dealer slapped new ones on it. So now in the back I have 255/35/18 and in the front, I got 235/40/18. So I need your thoughts. Is this dangerous or bad in any way? They are sitting on stock 18s. I drove it today and the ride seemed fine. In the very beginning, my light SLIP started flashing for about 15 seconds and the speed dropped to around 30-40mph but then it went away and did not come back (I drove for over 2 hours since that). Any advice/input?

When I do decide to get a new set, can I still slap 255 in the back and 235 in the front? If so, what's the profile that I would need? Anyone have experience with this?

Thanks!

It shouldn't be dangerous... I would suggest 255/35/18 and 235/35/18
