Well let's see I've almost hit someone changing lanes to the left, and today I got a ticket for cutting off a bike cop to the left... And yes I have had my mirrors set up exactly as the diagrams and suggestions say. And yes, I always glance to the left to make sure. Maybe it's because I'm 6'3" and my head's barely clearing the roof, but for me there is a bad blind spot. After cutting off a cop without seeing him, I'm thinking I'll push out the mirrors even more, but then I might be opening up I blind spot between side and rear.. maybe a convex is in order...
