Coupe Random Little Question Thread
#467
Okay so last week I got an alignment done and the steering is perfect now and I also made them check the end-links, and sure enough the driver's side links lower nut was so loose that he could loosen it with his hand. He tightened it and torqued it to over 70 lbs, after this all the clunk was gone! so I do not need compression rods lol. But after the drive home from the mechanic which is like 20 kilometers, the end-link nut was loose again and the clunk was back. Today I went to the shop again and made them look at it again and he couldn't believe it that after torquing it so high that it came loose again, He blamed the nut because all the other nuts were new (I got new end-links few weeks ago) and this nut was old and rusted he said it was probably used from the old end-links. So it looks like all I need is a new nut for the drivers side end-link lol.
Thanks everyone for the help! (now to fix the rust and get a new exhaust & tires )

I honestly don't think either color will look too good. Between the two, i would go with the gloss though, definatley clear coat them as well. The matte rims always look like crap after a few months. I would look around for other color schemes though, maybe bronze? What style of rims are they?

I would have them professionally powdrcoated. Again the plastidip, adds a "cheap" aspect to your car that detracts from its sportiness. You could always plastidip a few different colors to get a general idea of what they look like, then once you make a final decision, peel it off and have it powdercoated.
