What size coolant water hose is going to the throttle body? This is the hose you cut when installing a coolant control valve (CCV). Mine is leaking, so going to replace it, but not sure what size.

Thank you!

It's either 6.5 or 8mm. Get a measuring tape and use the little marks to verify or go to your local "usually have to go there twice to get the right part" auto supply store to match up. My lazy *** is not going out to the garage right now. Correct me if I am wrong either way but If you don't speak metric system should be 5/16 or 1/4 inch one or the other.

Lowering Springs

I'm looking into lowering springs for my '05 G35 Coupe. I have been browsing the internet and Tein seems to be the way to go. But I found some Manzo springs that look appealing as well. So what kind of springs do you guys recommend? And how low should I go? I've been thinking 1.25"/1.0" F/R. Thanks

Tein is definitely one of the top choices. Eibach and Tanabe are other tried and tested brands. Anything else is subpar. That seems like a good drop to go with, all of the aforementioned brands offer springs around that drop. Do some research and compare them and see which one you like.

If you hadnt seen it, that should keep you busy for a while. I personally would gave gone with eibach as i think my teins are too soft.

How do you get the exterior lights to come on when you unlock the car with the remote? I get no flash or anything, just the interior dome lights on.

I walk out to my car at night after work, so would be nice to have a little light.

If you want the turn signals to come on when you lock/unlock the car, press and hold the lock & unlock buttons on your remote at the same time until you hear the horn. The headlights/taillights do not come on, but there might be a way to customize it so that it does.

So my '04 came with the surfboard trunk (with the integrated third brake light, of course), and I've fallen in love with the Hikkatadori trunk. So are there any aftermarket trunks that have the third brake light incorporated into it, or am I stuck with the OEM trunk?

To my knowledge there are no aftermarket trunks with integrated third brake lights. Most people without a third brake light in the rear deck do a swap with one that does or custom fabricate it.

The window third brake light is still there tho. Shouldn't be too hard to just transfer wiring..? The cars with spoilers have 2 third brake lights, they just just disconnect the window one when a spoiler is added no?

Hell no spoiler models don't have a light in the rear deck
