On my 2006 coupe, the 5/16 Motordyne spacer fit with the plastic engine cover still on. It might press on the fiber vibration damper on the underside of the hood just a tiny tad, but no issues.
Installed z1 plenum spacer and torqued everything to 50in lbs. Also added z tube and the car was running great for for days. I get to the car today and idle is really bad and I stall out. Swapped out cam sensors, crank sensors. I got a MAF sensor error but I think I was trying to start the engine without the sensor plugged in. I was trying a few things. At one point the car started but was at a really bad idle. I checked all around the plenum and everything's installed. I'm tempted to go back you the regular air box and see what happens. I have a 2003 coupe.
Edit: it was the fuel pump

Damn that was just coincidence. I wouldve definitely thought it was something to do with the MAF sensor.
Funny you say that. I cleaned the MAF sensor at the same time. But when I removed the fuel damper and put the key to on, no gas came out of the damper fuel line.
I have this one problem with my interfire 12” subwoofer. When i play the song called “Bass Test subwoofer” on spotify and i max out the volume on my phone and aftermarket pioneer stereo, the subwoofer turns off and a message comes up on my stereo. The message says “Caution amp overload”. my audio set up is as according. I don’t know what’s the problem all i did was leave the hertz on the stereo to max. someone plz help me
Front: ds18 pro 6.5s
Rear: alpine 2 way s-s65
stereo: pioneer DMH1700NEX
I have a 2004 Coupe with a sagging rear driver corner. I am planning to replace the rear springs and struts. I'm not looking to lower the car but most of the information and aftermarket components are all lowering springs and suspension sets. From what I can find on various forums including this one, the 2004 coupe has the 342 rate springs on the rear and mine have the 3 red dots consistent with this post and others: https://g35driver.com/forums/brakes-...ml#post2831712
Is there a stock equivalent (non-lowering) that isn't $200/spring like the OEM part? Any suggestions are appreciated!

Hi
On mornings or nights I see this frosting on my windshield (see image at https://vkmotorsports.com/blog/image.../frosting.jpeg )is this due to a weatherstrip leak or something ? 2005 6MT Coupe with 187,000+ miles.
How do I figure out if this is a leak or not ? there shouldn't be anything really, since my other cars don't have this at the same time this car has this kind of frosting.
Please advise.

You're getting that because high humidity in the cabin is condensing on the cold windshield (radiant cooling to the sky at night). So yes, it's an indicator of a potential leak somewhere. Check the usual culprits: clogged sunroof drain(s); misaligned windshield cowl above the battery allowing water into the cabin through the cabin air filter; bad grommet through the firewall. If the leaks are significant, you could have water pooled in the floor pan wells (they have styrofoam blocks in them to level the carpet. If that's the issue, you can't just dry the carpet; you have to pull the carpet and dry out the wells).

I had the same problem in my van, was leaking on a roof rack nutsert into the back of my van cabin. Definitely would check your sunroof drains they are the most common failure this platform.

This maybe the real problem. i do see water in my wells after heavy rains. i vacuum it out each time.
