so I hydroplaned today and crashed into a curb pretty hard

My alignment is off now and the vdc and slip light are on consistently
Are they on because of the alignment issue or because I messed up something else?

Try getting an alignment and resetting the ECU. If that doesnt work then take a closer look at the wheel well and see if you can see anything strange like a wire hanging out of place

If you truly crashed into a curb hard, you might have significant damage to your suspension related to that wheel. If it was a front wheel you could have a bent tie rod, fvkced up compression rod or lower control arm, damage to your wheel bearing, damage to the ABS sensor as mentioned above, damage to your brake set-up, or damage to your steering knuckle among other things. You need to get your car to a trusty mechanic pronto for them to check out the whole suspension/brake set up on said wheel. Some of the things I mentioned are safety hazards if not corrected soon and no matter what the issue is you will need an alignment. Sorry to be the harbinger of doom as it may be none of those things but you need to find out what the issue is before you drive many more miles.

GL and let us know what you find out.

When driving the only issue I felt was the alignment but none the less I am taking her to a mechanic on Monday to get checked out.

I am praying it is just the alignment because money is pretty tight , I'll let you guys know how it goes.

Hopefully it is but I'd be willing to guess a sensor got knocked and or a busted tie rod. A buddy of mine gave a curb a love tap and it broke a cv shaft and the rear axle but that's an acura for you lol
