The new M45 Sedan is close to what you are talking about. Just a little bigger and heavier.

my dad has a Q45. im sorry to say that debadging it and swapping some numbers has crossed my mind at least once

It would be good, only if they could move the engine back and keep its weight down, to keep the front of the car as light as possible (I would prefer 45% front, 55% rear, but that probably wouldnt be possible..)
Another good feature for the car would be adjustible dampeners and roll bars.


the biggest problem i could think of is competition, with the new dodge firepower coming and the competition m3, im not sure that it would be a good value above $45k.

How bout a G45 AWD kinda like the infiniti version of the Audi S4. Something to compete with the M3 and C55s of the world. I'd buy it in a second!

You could have G43 for 45000. If you had bought the car new and installed the AEBS stroker right the way.

The stoker is a 263 cid, so its actually a 4.4 (as opposed to american 262/4.3 standard in chevy trucks) So..... how much would you have to overbore to hit 4.5L? Would it be safe? Id rock a 4.5L v6 G45 =)
