ok so my friend was in the passenger seat and we used the standard iphone timer.. the go and stop was on my call and I ended with 7.45 seconds
I used tiptronic and no rev to launch, shifts were at 6900 but it still seems slow ... Would 20" wheels slow me down that much or can something be bad . Everything is bone stock

20's and a passenger will definitely slow you down. A tune will help alot

that is normal for no revs, and unless you have a tune you aren't revving to 6900. Yes your 20" wheels will slow you down and in fact they may be throwing your speedometer off. If you had traction control on it will be slower. If you had the same year bone stock 6MT with 19" wheels and launched it with revs you'd hit 60 in about 6 seconds.

I did have traction control .. Im still a newb so excuse my ignorance but how am i not reving to 6900 if the RPM meter says I am ?

I'll race yoo to the Need for Speed premier. You didn't hit 6900 because your electrical system won't let it hit that high. You need a custom MAP tuning to get that.

With the automatic, your panties probably got stuck in the intake. It'll bog the car down. j/k

but for srs. 20's on a already heavy car, a passenger, and the fact that you can't shift that high on a stock automatic means yes. You're now slow...er. But, keep in mind, you have a relatively slow car to begin with and 20's. So, don't feel too bad. Our cars are quick...at BEST. But not fast. Doesn't matter if it's the man version on what you got.

Lose the wheels, passenger and get a tune. I got 0-60 in 4.48 and 0-100 in 9.98 in my NA 5AT at the track using cipher to log. Are your only mods z tube and filter?

I have an 05 x from a standing start mine does it in 6 seconds.I have stk 17 inch wheels all stk no mods.Put stk wheels on and give her a run.Bet your time drops.

I would say your timing method is flawed, at least use an app or something so there's less room for error. My best recorded time when N/A was 5.7s.

Also if you don't normally drive that hard, then the ecu has probably adjusted to a softer driving style. You would have to reset it to get the acceleration numbers. Id expect 6 seconds. And cut off traction ctrl.
