i've seen G's with 6000k compared to stock.. i don't see how it's an upgrade when the lighting has been reduced.

If you want to change to bulbs because you just want a different color, many people here have done it with no problems

yup.. no problems at all.. I changed mine to 7500k.. but I think 7500k is just too blue.. 6000k is the way to go..

been thinking about this too, was sifting through the other 100 million threads. Prolly will change my lights to 6000k because I want a hint of blue, any recommendations on brand?

Also, matching fogs for those recommendations.. And then i'll do the clear corners as well. So much to do, such little money eh...

6000K is a different color temperature. Light output will decrease the higher in colore temp you go, and the 6000K will have a purple color to it...not blue.

If you have good sight, then you probably are good with 6000. I rather keep those stock ones as they are not yellow. I like them either white or blue.

Anyone seen the new SLK's lights? They are purple REAL purpel.
