Hi Guys
I have a 04 G Coupe and I recently replaced my spark plugs with a new set of NGK Iridium's and the old ones were NGK Platinum and since the install I've lost a decent amount of power & acceleration. Any ideas what it could be?
Thanks

ive heard the platinum's where better. but idk for sure.
Try putting the old ones back in or some new platinum's and see what she does.
Also check the gap, I never trust pre-gapped although they are usually right.
one fall off the shelf or mishandle could mess the gap up.

I wouldn't trust that they are correct, those plugs fit Kia's, Hyundai's, Nissan, Toyota's and Suzuki's as well as your G, they come pre-gapped at .044, Infiniti's service manual says plug gap should be .043, do yourself a favor and always set them to the factory spec. Difference between platinum and iridium isn't performance it service life, iridium's will last longer than platinum.
As far as your power issue check all the vacuum hoses and other connectors around the engine, if you have all the coils bolted up correctly and the wires are right you may have knock something else off. I don't remember if it's on the drivers or passengers side but two of those coil wires are really easy to swap, I'd double check all of those wires.

Hey... Just replaced all of the same on my friends TL and he complained about mileage.
Turns out our reckless driving taught the ECU to be in spirited mode often.
...
Reset your ECU by disconnecting the negative battery cable and pumping the brakes for a few seconds. After, start it up and drive it like a madman!
