I have an 05 coupe. It does have the sticker on top of sticker thing but it doesnt have the spelling error on motor. Do some research on the vin number and pay close attention to see if things like color etc add up

 

Today's the day we figure out we were part of a mass G35 theft spree and all have stolen cars ....

At least we can trace it back to MOTER.

 

I have an 05 coupe. I had the same thing going on as well with my sticker and it did spell motor wrong as "moter". I'm thinking the spelling error might be for all 05 Gs

 

I could see if they misspelled "color" and "vehicle" as "Cowow" and "Wehicwe", since they are manufactured in Asia. At least they recognized there is actually an R in MOTOR... even if they did spell it MOTER.

 

Holy crap I'm sorry guys. Email alerts failed me and I didn't know so many of you guys came to my aid. Sorry for not responding. Y'all make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Thank you to each and everyone of you guys that looked.

OK so to update my situation, I was super tired the day I was to drive down to LA so I ended up picking a car much closer to home and ended up getting a great deal on a clean title G35. And the guy gave me 3 keys but only one worked so today I had a locksmith reprogrammed them. While I was at it I remembered about the VIN thing so I checked my driver's side door VIN too and lo and behold, there it was... Nissan's very own black swan, the MOTER itself. I couldn't believe it and thought I'd go on here to share my experience only to find several members have already confirmed this. Luckily I think I got a better deal from this car than the one in LA so I'm good but damn this board and it's email alerts not letting me know when members have replied. Again thanks guys to all the people that checked their stickers. Kinda makes you wonder doesn't it? What else did the QA department at Nissan/Infiniti missed?
