Help! Riding rough!

Hey guys, so recently I've noticed that my car has been riding really rough. I can feel it in my shift ***, it shakes all the time now. Even in neutral, I can hold the *** and feel the immense shaking. Any idea as to what it could be?

Possibly a stuck rear caliper. Have started seeing more and more rear caliper issues here lately.

Well the shaking isn't as bad out of gear but I can still feel a little more shake than usual. I plan on eventually getting a short throw and that could dampen some of it.

Is it brembos that are getting stuck because I believe im having a similar issue. I also hear a chirping noise coming from my back left wheel area when driving. It only happens when the wheels are spinning and when I apply braking pressure it stops. (I have brembos btw)

Can you be a little more descriptive?

- For instance, I know you said "riding" rough, but at what speed do you feel something is abnormal?

- You said you feel it in the shift ****, is this only when moving, at idle, or both?

- When you say "rough", is it a chattering feeling in your shift ****? Engine knock? Something holding your car back from moving??

I'm not too sure if the caliper would come into play here, because if it were you'd feel more of a brake hesitation than shift **** shaking, but that is only my best estimated guess. We need more info man. lol

I had a similar problem awhile ago, it was my rear bearings that caused it

You need to take your G to a qualified mechanic, get it on a rack and find out what's causing what you're describing. Changing the shifter won't change what's causing the rough ride you mentioned!

Well it feels like metal on metal from the minute I start the car, it's slightly noticeable while idle or w/ clutch pushed in but it is really bad when in gear. The car does feel sluggish when I accelerate but I figured it was because I need new plugs.

I will definitely take it to a mechanic soon.

UPDATE: The shaking is parallel to the RPMs, the higher I go, the worse it gets.
