redoing my 04 coupe exhaust, need vette sounding exhaust

Understood 100% Thank you for the input. Might just go with modding engine a little and new exhaust. That I can do with friends who are mechanics but they all said they wouldnt do the LS swap for me because if anything goes wrong they would feel horrible. Not worried about what people say about car having a v6. you know how it goes..... 90% of them couldnt afford the car or are drinking Hatorade anyway.

2004 g35 coupe base. excellent condition, was a family of my friend who lives in fla. no kids driving. 83k miles no accidents(checked carfax) reg title. not salvage. car in great condition, engine bay clean as a whistle, single owner who took care of car.. couldnt refuse the deal. 7k$ sent to vaydor from their house in fla. never see a deal like that again

Honestly, with a swap like this, I would only recommend doing it if you do the work yourself.
All too often I see people have turbos and other complex motor mods done by an outside party and have issues down the road that they can't sort through due to not being a part of the original build, or just not knowing how to work on a motor.
I'm not saying don't do it, but if your initial research leads to you a lack of a competant mechanic who can do the install, then I would recommend NOT doing an LSx swap.
Granted...that is the motor that was crafted by the hand of God and has been known to cure cancer by drinking the used motor oil that has been blessed enough to have been poured into the holy oil pan.

Good point. the reason I wouldn't buy a heavily modified car as well.

Not asking for a exact vette sound....asked for something like it or the closest exhaust that will get it as close as possible.....I like the drone dont like ricey high pitch. watched many youtube videos but i know guys here are hands on and im not. cant tell by reading and videos sometimes. recording on phones and such or in enclosed places make the sound vary. need hands on experience to suggest whats closest exhaust. I came up with borla, some guys say yes...some say never so now im looking at Meistercraft with remote exhaust maybe that will get me what im looking for.....gotta read more

A V8 under that awesome skin would be a perfect way to compliment the looks of the car.
If you're happy with the car having the normal VQ35DE, then that's great for you... but I know if it were me personally, I'd want a motor and exhaust sound that matches the look of the car. I'm a huuuuge car sound guy though, so maybe I make a way bigger deal about that stuff than your normal person. At least the car will be lighter than stock after the conversion by about 400 pounds. That should make it noticeably quicker than a stock G35 even if you kept the drivetrain 100% bone stock.... assuming you don't put wheels on the car that weigh like 95 pounds each.
I just feel like it would be a huge letdown when you see such a nice looking car and then it starts up and sounds identical to the soccer mom's Nissan Murano that is parked next to you. LOL.
Don't get me wrong... I really love the stock sound of our motors and exhausts for our cars. It's a nice sound compared to your common car BUT not even close to nice enough to incite supercar envy.
Someone else mentioned this earlier... but it definitely makes me think of those Lambo-Fiero conversions and then the guy starts the thing up and you hear the clickity-clack patheticness of a GM 2.8 V6 (the same engine used in cars like a Chevy Celebrity, etc).
Keep in mind too that if you ever go to sell the car, I think it would fetch a ton more attention and higher resale price with a sweet motor in it. The overall allure of the car would be that much more, and it would really give a future buyer the feeling that the car was done right and not half-a$$ed, which is very important when trying to sell a modified car.
