wella few things, 1 was in case of wreck, 2 it has better airflow when sideways.
on a side note, the car is getting Twin turbos now... I fell on a deal too good so i ended up with greddy twin turbo kit. hopefully will have it done being put on by wed night.
How are the Tein inner/outer tie rods? Does it significantly increase steering angle to where you can tell?
I despise the stock steering angle, it's so narrow because spin outs happen too often esp upon 70~80 mph entries (i.e. at Mineral Wells).. I'm trying to figure out what's better, adding spacers (http://www.maverick-motorsports.com/...le-rackspacers) or going the Tein tie rod route.

Reason: ...
So, After getting the Twin turbo kit the HKS computer was not working. Soooo i ended up doing something crazy, I ended up buying MS3PRO stand alone. So some info on doing this.
First off only 1 other person anyone knows about has even put ms3pro on a Z/G, so I had pretty much no support.
2 MS3pro does not do drive by wire... Kinda Sucks, but fixable.
So what this entailed.
Used a S13 throttle cable and pedal, the pedal actually bolts right up. i then used a Mustang 4.6 throttle bod and TPS sensor.
i was having issues at first with no spark, which in the end turned out to just be a setting that was wrong in MS3PRO but we thought it might be the coil packs, So I am now running 5.3 Truck Coil packs and wires. Other Chevy parts include, GM 3bar, GM air intake temp. I then pulled the entire chassis harness out of the car and uses a push to start.
I had some fuel issues, so now I have an AEM 340LPH pump in it, with RC 440 injectors as well.
You ever get it Dyno'd? also was the engine built at all or stock block TT'd i dont recall reading the engine getting worked over in the thread but i may be wrong.
It is stock internals, Just nothing stock external. lol Never got it to a dyno sadly. I might take in the next week or so to my work and put it on the dyno just to see what it makes, but just have a street tune on it now. I actually have it all up for sale.
Setup I am going with is a Chevy 4.8 (truck LS) with a stroker kit making it a 6.3 with 11:1 compression and aluminum cnc heads. Being that I drive in Pro am series, what makes you win is consistency. All motor with a built engine you do not have to worry about being safe, or boost leaks or turbo lag, non of that, just power on demand. And lots of TQ.... Tq is mans best friend in drifting. lol
