Just thought id post a quick story about friggin sweet our cars are...

Got a call from my best friend...his longtime gf cheated on him and he was going CRAZY...breaking shiit, just flippin out in general...So what are friends for??? I hop im my car even before i get off the phone with him and pull outta my driveway...lemme just say this, people that know me know i dont drive slow---with that said i was F-in FLYIN in my G to get down there before he went nuts...What normally takes about 40+ minutes took me less than 30 mins.....i hit 130 mph a few times and prally average 110 on all the highways i was on (in traffic mind u)

The G did awesome! It accellerated with no hesitation in any gear, it corned flawlessly on backstreets and on-ramps, and braked hard time and time again (stupid people in my way)...

What makes this even cooler is that i had my sunroof open, my heated seat on low, a killer CD bumpin in the BOSE, and the movie "HERO" playing on my three screens while making this journey...

Was this stupid? Prally. Do i recomend this? Definately!!!

Bottom Line: I asked a lot from the car -- and it delivered.

I think you are a good friend to have and fast driver. However, I don't know why you watch Hero while driving 130mph? How's that related? I know it's a good movie, but you should watch something like....2F2f. Just my opinion. Man, do you have a radar detector?

 

FYI: I wasnt watching HERO my other friend was in the passenger seat...plus, that movie has really cool visuals so its a good one to have playin in the background...and no, no radar detector...i dont like them.

Thanks for the comment...hes a good friend to me and has been for like 20 years...he woulda doone the same...but a lot slower in his Jeep Cherokee!

 

130mph with traffic? I hope you realize that it is more important to arrive safely without placing others at harm.

 

I agree Pedro, but at the time - you gotta do what you gotta do...and with your best friend crying, screaming, and swinging a baseball bat around, you dont hang out in the right lane doing 64 mph...
