These rattles are "TSB"s - Technical Service Bulletins. You go to the dealer and tell them where the rattle is and if there is a TSB out for it, they will fix it. Almost all rattle locations have TSB's out for them.

Yes, they should fix a rattle under warranty IMHO. Generally they do, although with my G35x the only rattle I've had in 4 months (and only 3900 miles) was from my flashlight in the glove box (I managed to fix that myself!) Certainly if there is a TSB they should fix it.

My dealer, Douglas in Summitt, NJ has always been helpful. If you've caused the rattle by pulling things apart and not reassembling them right or by hitting strange objects, they probably won't fix it for free. But "normal" rattles they should fix.

Ive never touched or removed any part from my G. There is a rattle in the rear side window behind the passenger. It's been driving me crazy and I thought warranty did not cover it. I'll go have an oil change done and ask them to fix that thing.

Yeah I've had that same rattle in mine. It seems to come and go as the climate changes though for me but yes, they should be able to fix that for you for free.

This car sure is a rattlebox eh? The funny thing is that back when I bought my ss camaro, I had friends tease me saying ya it's a fast car but it'll rattle like crazy...ha ha...my G35 is my rattle box. I had my girlfriend drive around with me to find my newst rattle(just started last week). It sounds like the rearview mirror too. And the rear parcel shelf rattle that the dealer supposidly fixed is back as well. I think I'm just going to accept the fact that my G35 is a rattle box. On the days when I want a rattle free car, I'll just drive my SS(how ironic eh?).

I have both the Coupe and Sedan and both have unbelievable rattles coming from everywhere. I removed both mirrors and placed a tab of silicon on each of the buttons that were rattling. The rattles stopped from the mirror but still come from that little plastic piece hiding the wire, I just removed that all together. no more rattles from the mirror. Now on to the rest of the car.

Yes...the car rattles sooo much and it's coming from all directions. I'm actually dropping it off tonight and picking up a loaner so they can fix the rattles. I told him that if I bought a civic, I might expect this...but even on my sister's 8 year old accord..there are no rattles. So hopefully they can fix it. I tell them about anything that is bothering me, they are usually good about fixing it under warranty.

Sunglasses in the sunglass holder was the cause of a one year rattle that seemed to only occur in the dark mornings. If I came home at nighttime it would have taken me only two years to figure it out!

THAT is exactly where the sound is coming from my car. I bought this car at the end of August. The link says that this rattle exists on cars built before June 1st, is there anyway I can know WHEN my car was built?

I was supposed to get a late model.

Yup, get that same rattle as well. Damn is it a pain in the *** too because it just comes and goes randomly and loves to come when the car is real cold.

The build date is on the driver's side door frame at the base of the B pillar-below the latch.
