It's a great idea. It doesn't look very elegant though. What do you mean by "safty"?

My first impression... "they look heavy". I'd like to see this developed, improved upon and eventually turned into a lightweight, low profile, high performance version.

Wait....so you can't have rims? Those things look creepy, but I guess all futuristic stuff does till its widley produced.

I think they are ugly. Maybe a final version will be better looking, although I am not sure how since the "spokes" have to be flexible. Hey, Neffster, I may just be confused, but how could those things get any more low profile?

yeah i dont think they could really make them low profile, doesnt look like it would work, and there is always resistance to change, they do have a unique look, maybe will see shaq rolling around with those on his escalade

Old news...there was a video floating around a while ago that showed how it worked, obiously if this came out they would cover up the tires.

ya I Guess they all ready use it in BMW tires The 7-series only and i think only the 760il
