G35 Coupe Overheating?

You get no air cooling at all on a water-cooled bike or any water-cooled motor for that matter. The material on the heads on a water cooled engine are far too thick to provide any sort of air cooling directly to the head and the head internals are also encased in a water jacket that pretty much insulates it from exterior air by even more material. An air cooled motor has (by design) a much thinner head construction with large cooling fins extending out from each head to increase the surface area for cooling purposes and heat radiation. This is why air cooled motors are generally louder than water cooled... less material in and around head to absorb and dampen the combustion noise within. And I'll repeat it again in case you missed it the first few times... the engines on basically all sport bikes are NOT out in the open. They are nestled into the frame beneath a fuel tank and mostly covered on both sides by a fairing and blocked in the front by a radiator. All of your cooling comes from either purely water cooling or some combination of water and oil cooling through radiators. I currently own and do all my own maintenance and work on 3 motorcycles and have had many others over the course of my life..... I doubt based on your clueless comments that you own any or have any experience with maintaining or repairing them at all.
Please stop posting bull$hit that has clearly been proven to be wrong by the factory provided service information:

Update: I finally found the time to take it in to Nissan/Infiniti today and basically they told me there was an extended warranty on the fan motors for this particular model and year (2006 Coupe), but mine expired October of last year.
Based on their repair specialists, the fan motors were definitely the issue and all the fuse/relays were in the clear. However, they quoted me $900 to replace both fan motors PLUS $155 for labor. I told them that considering the genuine fan motor that came with the car went bad, it doesn't give me much confidence to spend that outrageous amount of money on another one. So I just said screw it. I'd rather take the risk and purchase an aftermarket fan that cost 10x less and be done with this issue.
I'm taking a look at a few from Ebay and Amazon. When it comes in and gets replaced, I will let you guys know how it turned out!

Hey guys. So my aftermarket cooling fan assembly finally came in the mail and putting it in was not hard at all, in fact it was pretty fun.
First, I had to drain the coolant fluid and remove the coolant reservoir along with the air filter an order to get the fan shroud out through the top. I had a little trouble removing the power supply harness but finally got it out as I discovered they were heavily tied down by Infiniti. You will not be able to remove the fan shroud without getting the coolant reservoir and air filter housing out of the way if you plan to pull it out through the top.
One thing I noticed was the crappy OEM cooling fan that came with the car used an extension harness for the power connectors underneath. I removed them as they were not needed for the way the connectors were positioned in the aftermarket fan that I purchased. However, make sure you keep the connectors on the bottom tied down and out of the way of the fan blades. Simple.
Thanks again for the help fellas.
