Options for Coupe Front Bumper

Hey guys/girls,
I messed up my OEM Non-sport front bumper up to the point where It's cost more for an attempted repair than replacing. If I am going to replace it, I want either (polyurethane) the INVEN or SPORT 07 bumper. I've been quoted the around the same price from my local inifinti dealer (sports bumper) and from outcast garage (inven) of $550 shipped/primed. Does anyone have any suggestions on any other places that can offer a better deal?

Perhaps you should utilize the "Exterior Vendor" area and contact those who have multiple posts on bumpers and other exterior products.

You'll probably be able to find a junked G in pretty decent shape for the bumper at least.
Search on CL, I've seen in ATL with plenty of Gs being parted out.

I'm going with either a Kuruma Z or a Nismo front bumper. They look the best imo.

Jyounya the price you were quoted ($550) shipped is very reasonable for a OE sports bumper. Outcast garage is a good company, however not all vendors are honest or won't stand behind what they sell...caution! If you buy a front bumper like INVEN that hangs down lower than OE then you'd need sides that have the same profile...more $$ Understand? Reflecting on my years of modifications I suggest you go with the '07 Sports bumper. Cost to paint s/b in the $300 range, colors like Ivory Pearl a few $ more!

I agree with sport or Nismo. The inven has awful fitment around the lights. Post a WTB thread for a Nismo or sport bumper. That's how I got my sport bumper. Good thing with buying it used is you can get it already painted (for cheaper than an unpainted new one).

Seriously? What is a used bumper goint to look like that's over 8 years old? Not anything you would want to put on your G, new or used they'll need to be painted...Gary

Sorry for the late reply, had a rough day yesterday.

Gary, you always give solid advice. I really love the Inven because it looks like a slightly more aggressive 07 sports bumper. I too have worried and notice that some G's with it installed have that "hanging lower than stock" look, which seems off with most side skirts I've seen. I was hoping I could get the "sports" for around $300 - $400, but if you say $550 (not primed, unpainted) is reasonable, then I'll have to deal with that pricing when I pull the trigger.

Scraggle, I'll give it a shot. If I can find a quality 7 - 8 year old bumper that will save me a good $150 - $250 from $550, then I'm game. I'm not optimistic about it, but it's worth a shot. Most of the one's I've seen on ebay look like they've been to war and back.

Just be patient. Took me a couple months but I got one here on driver freshly painted for $450. A member her had just had it resprayed and then went with a whole new body kit, so I made out. People do this kinda stuff all the time and just have their old bumper in their garage. Just gotta be patient
