i owned an '03 coupe for two years before getting the '05 recently. i didn't notice any difference. but, i really couldn't care any less about how "loud" the muffler is.....to each their own. maybe you can get one of those honda ricer fart-cans and be really loud: )

My 05 sounds much deeper at 350 miles than it did when I bought it. It has gotten progressively "growly" at idle.

Quote: i got my stock 04 exhaust sitting in my garage, let me know
cant you guys read the previous posts... the part number on the exhausts are the same as the 04's!!! that means they did nothing to the muffler itself...

Quote: not as loud as the 03-04's.... ...but the exhaust part numbers are the same, so it must be something engine related, maybe the new exhaust timing?

anyone??

I think it is just because the '05's are new. The exhaust will get louder after some miles are put on them.

I think the exhaust sounds great on my 05. I love the growl it makes when shifting. Its not as loud as my previous car which I like.

I like the sound of my 05 - I certainly don't want to sound like some loud POS v8 camaro.
