Heater core woes?
Heater core woes?
Well just got the car from auction a week ago, has no heat and now I see why. Heater core is bypassed. Does anyone have info of what hoses go where . Figure I may try to find out if it's plugged or leaking. I also snapped the coolant bleeder t valve in half. It was pretty weak so guess I'll call the dealer and see if they have one as my local auto store has no clue.
Okay guys today I hooked the heater core back up. Trying to bleed the system without the bleeder screw as I broke the housing so out a bypass pipe in its place until I can get to dealer to order one. I now have heat yay lol. Not too warm at idle but Rev to 1500 rpm and she's nice and hot. Which leads me to believe I have air in the system. So have the funnel on cap and keeping it full as car runs. Now gauge shows half, every 5 minutes or so the fan kicks on and coolant starts getting sucked yo lower level. So I keep adding more. It isint a while lot each time just a few ounces. This all seem okay?

I was under the impression that you replaced that necessary component with something that does the same job. Without that good luck
