Hi guys, its time to change my clutch. Which one do I get?
I read the forums a lot and apparently you need a clutch kit that is 'compatible' with the flywheel. My car is stock and I don't think I need to replace my flywheel yet just getting it resurfaced and I heard that the exedy clutch goes well with the stock dualmass flywheel.
My car is a 2007 g35 coupe, which of these clutch kits should I get? I'm looking at the "EXEDY NSK1000 OEM Replacement Clutch Kit", is that the right one?
thanks.

the clutch pedal feels 'sticky' at start up and takes a second or so to drop. I think this is due to the cold weather (-25 to -30 degrees celsius) but after the car is warmed up properly, I don't have this issue. I dont think these are symptoms of needing a new clutch?
I was planning on changing transmission oil cuz thats what I heard to solve the issues stated above. and I was thinking of changing clutch cuz I thought might as well, I wouldn't need to do it in the future.
do you think its necessary to change clutch in my situation? money isn't the issue but if i dont have to change the clutch then i'd like if it i didn't.
thanks

I also have an 07 coupe, with the EXEDY NSK1000 OEM Replacement Clutch installed about 20k ago, and I experience the same as you. When the temp is below -20 celsius, my clutch is slow to disengage, and my shifter feels like someone poured molasses into it. These are simply due to the cold weather. You have nothing to worry about.

This deal has served me well for the last six years.

Yes, you will get clutch chatter, it's not that bad. However, the light weight fly wheel really lets the engine rev. Yes, it will give you a buff left leg. But it will last a VERY long time, and it's REBUILDABLE, something the OEM flywheel is NOT. It will handle almost 500hp. My wife drives it the most and she loves it, so don't think you can't handle it.

actually, I read that you should use nissan brand fluid for manual transmission. Is this one fine?
Genuine Nissan Fluid 999MP-MTF00P 75W-85 Manual Transmission Fluid
I read a post earlier saying you should use 75W-90? but 75w-85 is what nissan recommends.
a mechanic will be doing the fluid change so how many quarts should I order?
this will be my last post, thanks

Stick to OEM Nissan fluid or Amsoil IMHO.
