Is it necessary to change the transmission fluid when changing clutch?

Hi, I was doing some searching on here to see if it's necessary to change out your transmission fluid when you are replacing your clutch and flywheel and I couldn't find a definite answer. Only reason I ask is because I just changed the fluid last year and if there's no need to get shop to change it when doing the clutch, it's just one less expense.
Thanks in advance!

No.. you don't need to change it out. It's completely separate from your clutch and sealed into the transmission. It's possible you could lose some fluid out the back of it when you remove the driveshaft. Even if you decide to drain it to prevent spillage out the back, you could drain it into a clean reservoir and put the same stuff back in since it's so new. Just make sure you really clean off the bottom of the tranny all around the drain hole really well before draining it if you opt to do this so it doesn't get contaminated with debris from the outside of the tranny.

Ok great, thank you very much.
While on the clutch topic, is there anything else in the area that might as well be changed while doing the clutch? This is the clutch kit and flywheel combo I bought. I also purchased a slave cylinder as well.
Thanks!
