Here's mine....

Hope you don't have to deal with the "LOADING" issue on your XM

I have Sirius, the antenna is attached to the inside of the front windshield with velcro to the right side of the mirror- wire runs inside right A-pillar. Great reception. Those external mount antennas don't look so hot.

I think I paid around $500 for the hardware and installation. I got the $250 labor refunded because it took the retards at Midway Infiniti in Phoenix, AZ. 3 trys to get my XM and Lojack installed. The first time they put the antenna on crooked, then the next time they left panels popped open and sweat stains all over my leather. The whole Midway Infiniti experience has been upsetting and a waste of time. The "LOADING" issue compounds it further and makes me want to hurt someone. I'm getting a new unit tomorrow, hopefully that will solve the problem.

ylg35c, that's a nice antenna. Wish I had that one instead. It looks like half the size of mine.

quackPOT, maybe they can replace your antenna with the new ones. I assume these are the ones they are installing now. Anyway, I haven't had any drop outs or loading problems so far. Hope everything goes well with your replacement.

I have to go in for an oil change on Monday, I'll ask if they can replace it with the new antennas and report back
