Some people just have evil intentions

I come back to my sedan today and guess what I saw? A large key mark on my right rear qtr panel........about 12"s long going past my gas cap! Some people just have a bad heart....why do that to someone's property?! Here are some pics. The scratches are pretty deep as it could catch my nail, but didn't go down to the primer.......could tell it's pretty close to the base coat........pisses me off!

It happens to some of the most nicest people and some of the...well let's just say it happens to people that deserve it.

Sometimes I just think it's paint shop owners who send people out and do this. If business is slow, hey it's a sure way to get a few in there. Sure there are no guarantees that they will come to their shop, but it's a crap shoot to them.

First off, that stinks!!

But I dunno, kinda doesn't look like a key'ing....it's too straight. Almost looks like sombody scraped alongside your car when parking??

I agree, usually a key job will leave a very crooked line. That line looks too straight.

Whatever the case it still sucks. You just can't have nice things these days!

Yeah We've had our pathfinder for just one month and some idiot has already chipped some paint with his//her door. Left some of their own paint on our car. I guess they just figured "oh well" and drove off. This was while parked in an office building parking lot. Makes you want to find out who did it and force them to watch you dance like MC Hammer on top of their vehicle.

I was over at Ikea......probably a shopping cart, but didn't see any around the car. I'm usually pretty careful about where I park......far away from all the nutheads trying to get as close to the entrance as possible.........for me, I'm the guy parking in the empty lot. It's funny though......whenever I park in the empty lots, by the time I get back there are cars parked right next to me.

Oh well, after dinner, just went outside and brought out my tools. 20 minutes later, my results..........yeh, I know it's dark, but I wouldn't be able to sleep knowing it's there.

the scratch was pretty deep, so I had to do some wet-sanding before cutting it w/ 3 different pads.....I feel a little better now though.

I say it's intentional because of the depth and length of the scratch. If you accidentally bump into somebody's car, it shouldn't drag more than a foot. You just never know what type of people are out there...........
