Replacing eng this weekend

Hey, guys!

Getting the engine on my 05 G35 coupe swapped as per a crack in my block.

I'm wanting him to take a look at my water pump just to make sure everything is on the up & up and to avoid over heating down the road. What all would he look for? Just coolant leaking from it?

Any other tips/to-do's while we have the engine out?

TIA.

Motor mounts are only easy to do if your engine is out, otherwise MASSIVE pita, so check those.

The stock water pump is a VERY solid unit but you should have an access window in your timing cover so it's easy to replace in the future if it does ever leak.
