Tail Lamp Fuse Keeps Blowing

Hi my name is Eric, I have an 03 G35 Coupe. My tail lamp keeps blowing a common problem that I've read from others is that if I had a wiring issue with an after market radio system... However, I do not. I have OEM deck. I replaced my fuse twice already and its getting annoying to change already. Any ideas?

G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods
Check out the wiring coming from the cabin into the trunk. More than likely you have at least one, if not more, wire that has been rubbed/exposed by the trunk opening and closing and is causing a short that blows the fuse. It's a very common coupe issue.

The wiring for the tail lights goes through a loom on the body in the trunk. Not through the trunk lid blue.

Op, I had issues with my lower city lights in my factory lights. Those kept blowing the fuse because crappy LED bulbs.

Have you ever considered following the troubleshooting steps in the FSM?

http://www.nicoclub.com/service-manu.../Coupe/2003/pg

See pages PG-036,049,051

If you do not have a mult-imeter and know how to use it to trace short circuits, read and understand how to read electrical schematic diagrams you may want to leave the troubleshooting to a pro.
