G35 2003 unknown part

Hello everyone Im trying to figure out the part number and function of a specific part on my g35 project car. If someone could help me out for reassurance it would be much appreciated. The part Im looking at is the snapped joint.

Yep, sway bar end link. I've heard of people breaking the 03-04 end links with aftermarket sway bars, but with OE sway bars this part should not break. I wouldn't worry about replacing both of them since they are not wear parts and typically should not break in normal service.

I'll respectfully disagree^

The links don't usually snap like that but the ball joints in the links are prone to failure so heed Joe's advice above and replace them both. My question would be what made it snap?

Good point, hadn't thought about that. I was thinking it had to be something both out of the ordinary and high in load that would make it snap (like hitting a curb, or getting super unlucky with some road debris), which was my reasoning for only replacing the one.

Either way, they're so easy to replace that it won't make much difference if you just do one or both of them now.

I bet you could hit a speedbump or something at an angle hard enough to snap them. I'd like to see some better pictures of the broken end when you get it off.

Where are you located ?? I just swapped out everything on my 03 with Whiteline end links and Hotchkis swaybars . You can have the old stuff. If needs to be shipped, you cover the shipping charges.
