Solid SRS Light

Take your console apart and get the model number off the diagnostic unit in your vehicle. When I say "generic" I mean it was used on a lot of Nissan's, it's still a very exact piece of equipment but they are plentiful. Fortunately there is no reprogramming on it either, just plug and play.
I should note that anytime you install ANY new components onto a vehicle SRS system you always make sure everyone is clear of the vehicle before starting the car. Typically I set the seat back as far as possible before removing the components so when you turn it on the first time you aren't popped at close range by the airbag just in case something goes awry, remove safety glasses and anything else that could hurt you like that mountain of gold chains and ornaments around the neck, etc.

Thanks for the heads up.
I’m going to lay on the floor and turn the ignition on just in case.
And what am I doing or looking for with the # I have on the module? (Nevermind, I see the model number of the new (used) SRS module should have the exact same # as mine.)

Try the reset, it's very similar to the diagnostic mode but it just forces the system to go through the new install setup. Try it multiple times.

Did you have to get a module that matches the numbers on your old one? Or did you buy any module on ebay?
So I bought a used SRS module from EBay.
It got rid of he solid light. Now I’m faced with a flashing light.
I’ve put it into diagnostic mode (I think), but I was really looking forward to being able to just reset the light so I can just pass this damn inspection 🙄

On the other hand, I did go to orielly auto parts & get it checked with a OBD2 scanner.
Two srs codes came up that ive been too lazy to fix came up. Hope this helps.

Okay, FINALLY got all of the SRS light off!
However, I just scanned the car to double check all of the codes were gone from yesterday and now I have code C1145 (Yaw Rate Sensor Malfunction).
I notice yesterday pressing the brakes would shutter really bad when going around a corner or going into my driveway. The "SLIP" light stayed on as well today.
Could this code due to me changing the steering clock sensor or airbag?

Clock switch also has the steering angle sensor. It's fairly common to need the dealership to reprogram your steering angle sensor position.
If you are tech-savvy and have a laptop you can buy the interface cord and the Nissan Datascan 2 software and do it yourself. It's a worthwhile investment if you plan on digging into the G in the future.
