Hello I'm new to forum my girlfriends g35 is having transmission problems it's staying stuck in 4th. My question is does any one know if the jdm transmission is a direct fit on the U.S g35? I've searched for info but can't find any info about it.

Do you know what years have the same transmission as a 05? Is it 03-07 g35s?

 

Check with LKQ I have bought a lot from them and they know what will fit.

 

Just order one from jdmnewyorki they helped me get the right transmission. So theres 2 different transmissions from what I was told they look exactly the same only difference is one has 3 green plug coming out the transmission from the valve body and the other only has one black plug that comes from the valve body.i have the transmission with only one black plug.

That's correct, the green harness one has the TCM mounted next to the ECU inside the car, the black plug has the TCM inside the transmission behind the valve body. Tech ically they're ALL interchangeable with each other because you can swap the valve bodies and wiring harnesses. There were numerous smaller revisions for the black harness transmission but they'll all work.
