2006 G35s coupe shaking

Hello so I just bought a 06 G35 6MT when I was test driving it didnt notice the shake since there was lots of traffic and I couldnt go really fast. I took the car on a long drive back home at highway speeds and the car would shake its not terrible but its an annoying shake

Ive search though the forums and it seems to be the compression rods but I havent heard any squeaks. Maybe I will now that the cold is coming.

My question is do you think that is my problem? I also feel a shake on my shifter occasionally. Ive read that these compression rods would go quick but a new version of them came out. Anyone have experience with the improved version? Also where can I buy the improved oem one or is there something better out there?

I also balanced all four tires myself when I went to my parents and made sure each tires required 0 weight that did not help. As for an alignment I havent done one I would hope the dealership would have done one before selling it but who knows lol

Is the shaking more of a VIBRATION that increases with speed? If so I'd start by inspecting the propeller shaft carrier bearing.

I'm not aware of a BETTER compression rod but when the ball joint wears out you replace the entire piece because it's a non-serviceable joint.

Just curious, how did you balance the tires, on a road-force balancer I'm hoping?

the steering wheel isnt so bad I can just barely notice it on the steering wheel but I can definitely feel and hear the car making noise

So you used an actual BALANCING MACHINE though right that spins the wheel a couple hundred rpm's and has a digital readout for balance, just trying to rule out tires as the problem.

If you have a steady vibration or shake that seems to be related to engine rpm I'd check motor mounts. When was the last time the spark plugs were changed, that can cause vibration as well.

You need to give specifics about how exactly you reproduce the issue, is it engine rpm or speed related. Does it happen all the time. Where else do you feel this besides the pedal. Is it a vibration, a shudder, or a clunk.

Details.

yes sir actual balancing machine. It also would shake if when I would let off the gas when Im going slower I feel like I felt that more at the transmission ****. Spark plugs no idea if they were ever changed I hear iridium are the best to buy for the G35 is that true? Cant hurt to go ahead and Change them too

Hello this is my old thread my tires kept losing air no matter what we did including bead sealer we didnt rebuild the tpms. I ended up buying new rims and the shake went away Im guessing maybe had a bent rim
