to remedy the 'hissing' or PSSSH, drive to around 50-80 mph and while remaining at that speed, drop the car into reverse. You might hear grinding and clattering, but it'll over power the 'hissing'.

Do the people who have the hissing sound also have the K&N filter installed? I wonder if that is part of the problem as well.

yes the ppl w/ K&N also have hissing sounds. Stock has a slight hissing sound which is amplified w/ install of Z tube. Pop charger also slightly increases the sound.
