stupid question regarding the trunk net?

how did u put it in? ... i just pulled it out this afternoon and decided to use it for the first time... however... i could only find a total of 2 hooks in my coupe (actual net has 4 holders/loops). did i get the wrong net, am i missing hooks, do i tag 2 loops on 1 hook? strange.

ps. couldn't find anything in the manual.

My net came installed from the dealer. The top hooks on either side clip into the clip/holders on either inside fenderwalls of the trunk......the bottom two hooks of the net just dangle.....there are no lower holders on the fenderwalls to secure them to. Poor design......but the net does keep things from flying around the trunk, i.e., 2-liter coke bottles and other groceries.

There are 4 loops that secure the net in my coupe. If they're not all there, you need to go to the dealer and they will install them for you. My mom's sedan only had two for some reason and the dealer added the other 2 in about 5 minutes.

I think the bottom 2 of mine are slightly under the trunk carpet. All 4 are hooked!

holy caramba... i found them! just went outside and looked around... they were in plain sight once i knew where to look from the pics above. thanks for all your help on this silly question. i missed them the first time 'cause they're under that silly hump. i noticed something else... when i was leaning ino the trunk some of the rear panels sounded like they popped into place. so i got 2 pros for the price of one!

When I installed my trunk net, I found that it was totally in the way all the time whenever you wanted to put other items such as luggage, boxes, etc. in the main part of the trunk. So my trunk net got deep sixed in no time. Much easier to access the trunk now.
