P0057 bank 2 sensor 2
P0057 bank 2 sensor 2
This is the code I'm getting. Does anyone know of hand what side bank 2 is. I looked it up and one place I looked at said driver side and another website said passenger side
I went to AutoZone I got a new O2 sensor jacked up my car replaced the driver side O2 sensor by the cat. When I go to plug it in the connector it doesn't fit. They gave me Bosch part number 15522 which is bank 2 sensor 2 . The connector on the one they gave me is blue, The one I took out had a green connector
The passenger side also has a blue connector. The one I got definitely doesn't fit in the connector I took it out of but it does fit the passenger side connector. so I don't know if I have the banks confused or if the part numbers are messed up on AutoZone end .
I I could go pick up another one and replace both and put it back the way I found it but I want to make sure that everything is in the place it's supposed to go in

It's it's been a while but about a month and a half ago I was driving about 50 mi to work everyday so the second or third day The check engine came on but the car ran fine I checked the codes and it was O2 sensor bank 2 sensor 2
I I left The car that way for a while because I was working late didn't have time so I basically drove a hundred miles a day for a few weeks with that code. Now a few days ago I started noticing that when I pressed the gas hard there's a hesitation but if I slowly accelerated it was normal . Yesterday I started to notice that with the car idling it doesn't look like the RPMs are jumping around but I could hear the exhaust pop non-stop like it's a misfire at idle and same thing with the hesitation when pressing the gas hard.
I I changed one of the O2 sensors on the passenger side downstream and I unplugged and took the driver's side out I put the driver side back in and went to AutoZone to buy the driver side O2 sensor and the car was running normal until I was almost home and it was doing the same thing The drive was only like two or three miles
Now now after both are changed it's still giving me the pop I haven't drove the car yet but I'm pretty sure the check engine light's going to go back on it's not on just sitting idling for a few minutes
Figure it out. Totally different problem. So happens that it started misfiring because the valve covers I bought are leaking oil into the tubes. Luckily it was number two the easiest one so I cleaned it up and I got to redo this s*** again
Sorry about the problems you are having. When it rains it pours. Z1motorsports were where I got my valve covers... got the "kit" with gaskets.. did mine last October and although I only put about 3k miles on the car since.. not an ounce of oil leaked yet. I did an oil change last month actually and cant remember the last time I actually got out a full 5+ quarts. I only do an oil change once a year due to the such low mileage. (use 10k synthetic oil but only put about 3k miles on the car a year)
