Looking to drop G slightly. Springs/shocks or coilovers?

Looking to drop my 2004 G35 Coupe 6mt (brembos) which i believe has the sport suspension? the 18" wheels leave quite the gap, however, i am looking for some 19" rays. Id like to lower the car slightly and more stiff like a 350z. Will oem 350z suspension be a direct fit and will it lower the coupe? should I just get all new shocks/struts and springs since I wont be adjusting that much. or should i just get a good set of coils to streamline this whole process? I have been looking into the

H&R 53055 / KW Variant 1 V1

350Z revised springs are stiffer than the G35 and will drop the G35 1/2". Direct bolt on replacement but you should get adjustable FUCA since there is not adjustment in the front for camber and it's something that you will want to be able to adjust to your preference.

The more I search the more frustrating it becomes. People are saying that the 350z springs on the G35 lower the front while the back stays the same height. Should I be avoiding the lowering spring kits that are progressive and find a set of linear springs. The Tein s-techs sound good but im concerned that the drop is way too much

I used H&R Sports with KYB shocks and am very happy with the ride / stance. The HRs drop it 1" and I find the KYBs offer similar ride as oem, but a bit stiffer.... definitely not overly stiff... just right for my taste.

Food for thought...

Can see the "after" pics in this thread, sadly the "before" pics didnt work but you can see the stance after the drop. - https://g35driver.com/forums/g35-cou...o-gallery.html

Correct the 350Z springs only drop the front, the rear is easily dropped by chopping down the large rubber spring seat at the top of the spring perch.

Basically you just take 1/2" (or more, up to about 1" if you want to go that low in the rear) off of the top of that rubber stopper then reinstall it.

Definitely get coilovers, you will save yourself time and money. Eventually you would want a sportier and smoother ride.
