No more wood grain, please.
No more wood grain, please.
As the new owner of an 07 G Coupe, I love the car, but do not care for the wood grain interior accents. I don't want to put a bunch of money into it, but has anyone used the carbon fiver type decals that stick over the wood grain? If so, are they hard to apply? How do they look?
Or any other suggestion to get rid of the wood grain.
Thanks.

That sounds like an aftermarket kit. I'm pretty certain none of the G35 coupes, at least in the US/CA, had a wood trim package. Maybe heat it up with a hair dryer and see if it will peel off. Got any pics?

Maybe the dealership added it on, marked it up 300%, and sold it off the lot that way, but it is not OEM.
Just so you have an idea of what I'm referring to: https://www.bmcextremecustoms.net/20ing35badak1.html

this seems more likely to me. A dealership add on.
I looked at the link. Def could be. I'll try a heat gun on a piece and see what's underneath.
