Car won’t start. Please help!
About a month ago I was driving my g, not hard at all or anything, and it just cut off. It will crank, but it will not start, so I plugged in a cheap obd2 reader that I have used on the car for a while, and it can’t find the ecm. Also when the ignition is turned on the fans come on at full speed. Which leads me to believe I have a dead ecm. Before I replace the ecm does anyone have anything I should try. I have already replaced the ipdm and nothing has changed. The previous ipdm showed signs of corrosion, and oxidation.
Thanks guys

Before you do anything expensive like buy a new ECM, first take your time and check all the fuses, you could have simply popped one that powers the ECM and so it stopped.
Second, if you check the pins on the OBD-II connector and the key is on, do you get anything from any pins?
