Hello,I have a 03 350z with a g35 engine (de) wich I know has no difference. The problem is that when I went to install a plenum spacer and close the hood without the strut bar it barely closed and the sides of the hood would pop up. I didn't try it with the strut bar on since it obviously would not close at all. Ive heard that it might be the engine mounts but from what i heard and re searched there is no differamce. Any ideas what could it be?? I seriously dont want to spend 1200 on a 08 carbon hood.

 

What thickness spacer is it?
