Quick question, is that mold down the middle section of your door part of the aero package or something? I have an 05 Laser Red Couple and it doesn't have the molding looking piece.

 

It's a separate option, for $140 you get yourself some body side moldings. So I'm sure you can get the dealer to install them if you decide to get them.

 

Thanks for posting the pic. I was wondering whether to add the door moldings to my LR coupe. The moldings look good with the aero pkg. The Volvo drivers here in Berkeley are a little loose with their doors. Do the moldings give you protection or are they just a dealer profit item. What I am asking is, they seem to be a little low on the curvature of the door. Are they effective in protecting the door? Thanks

 

No, as mentioned above, its the body side molding and a separate option. I originally wasn't sure I'd like it, but now that I see it, I do.
