Radiator replacement

Guys what is the best replacement radiator for an 06 coupe? I have seen various threads and dont know what to get. I dont think I need to upgrade to mishimoto or csf as the car isnt driven like that.

If you have an automatic, I would just make sure the transmission cooler barbs are the correct diameter for your oem hoses. A lot of the aftermarket radiators have smaller barbs and it's a hassle to connect to them..imo, then finding the correct diameter barbs to mod the radiator is a bitch and a half and more $ out.

Also you might want to add a whole separate trans cooler while you are in there, and just bypass the transmission cooler, but the radiator cooler actually warms the transmission in colder weather.

I used both coolers in series.

There are plenty DIY sites for this mod.

I would buy from NAPA, CPZ or Z1

Wow Shurur I never even thought the barb sizes were different for the auto and manual. I really appreciate the help but, I just have one question, Should I still do the trans cooler even if the car is never driven in weather below 40s?

There are no barbs/coil/lines for the manual transmission radiator.
If you are manual transmission, disregard my post.

A Separate external Automatic Trans cooler is for warm weather places. I put mine (wife's really) in when we moved from NH to FL.

In cold climates, the oem radiator for automatic transmission coil has a built in coil with barb fittings and is a transmission fluid warmer in winter months.

It really should be thought of, or referred to as a temperature regulator imo.

Yup.
