Intake Cam Sprocket Dowel Pin is a little loose

I just noticed during reassembly that on one side the camshaft had a dowel pin while on the other side the sprocket had the dowel pin in it. While looking through the manual i realized that both dowel pins are supposed to be on the sprockets. I pulled the pin out of the cam and it looks fine, but the pictures look like it might have moved around a little bit at some point. The dowel pin still fits pretty snug in the camshaft sprocket but I'm able to pull it out somewhat easily by hand.

Will JB weld work to hold the pin in place, or do i need to find a new sprocket?

All the timing marks lined up perfectly before disassembly. Not sure if this was pre existing or I did it. I did use an impact to try to get the exhaust cam bolt out on this side, which was unsuccessful, so that may be related? I ended up taking the camshaft brackets off and leaving the sprocket on the exhaust camshaft during removal.

Intake Cam Sprocket. Dowel pin has a tiny bit of play, fits kinda snug, but i can pull it out with my fingers. Looks like a mark from the dowel pin above it.

Camshaft hole where the dowel pin was.

Does the dowel look deformed?

No, it looks fine to me, but the hole for the pin on the sprocket seems a little deformed/stretched out. I used jb weld in the mean time, but I'll order a sprocket if you guys think I should.
