Insurance!

I know there have been posts about insurance but I did a search and couldn't find this one thread that I remember reading.

Anyway, I am paying an assload for insurance and I cannot find a cheap insurance company. Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks

What amount do you consider an "**sload"? Where in FL are you located? Are you single/under 25? How's your driving record? Insurance companies' rates vary from state to state, so there isn't one single agent that's the "cheapest". Try shopping around a bit and get quotes from a few places.. Allstate, Geico, Nationwide, State Farm (prob. won't be the cheapest).

yeah, no way a highschool student can afford this car without some help thats for sure... Gunna need a good job to maintain (and upgrade =)) but i got one lined up already

Yeah probably about 1k a year if your a really good driver no serious problems sounds about right for a new coupe

1200 a year for a G and an 02 Altima 3.5. $250 deductible on each.

One way to play with insurance rates is change the amount of the deductible.

Of course, the best solution is don't get any tickets. Also, rates are VERY location dependent.

USAA is who I have, by the way. Best around.

Try Mercury Insurance, I have had them for years and love them! I pay about $1800 a year for the G, an 01 BMW 330i and an 03 VW Passat with $250 deductibles, 100/300 coverage and everything else you can get. Go with say a $1K deductible and minimum coverages? $6K a year is just insane, but you are only 17!
