6MT Coupe owners

One question and im really curious about this too. I drive a 5AT coupe and love having my arm on the cushy soft armrest, i notice that 6MT's dont have a armrest for driver or passenger in the same location as of the 5AT's do, any of you 6MT owners get annoyed with that??

nope. of course i'm stating the obvious, you have to have your hand on the stick when you shift, but when you're not shifting you should have both hands on the wheel especially with a car as strong this one. i used to drive with one hand when i drove an automatic. you might think it's easy or cool, but it's not a good idea.

or maybe your right elbow is resting on it while your right hand is still on the wheel if that's possible? i'm sorry, i'm not trying to judge you or anything, but again no it doesn't bother me.

Edit:

When im not shiftig my wrist is usually resting on the shift ****, I have never been bothered by it.
i also do this too.

well, i test drove a G35c 6MT. what really bothered me, is the arm rest needed to be about an inch or 2 longer forward. felt like my elbow was falling off the armrest. really close, but not quite. that was the only thing i didn't like on it... i'll be driving one home soon .

on a performance oriented manual I don't want an arm rest big that would
potentially rub my elbow while shifting... so, the G's arm rest is
perfect.

my previous cars that came with the extended arm rests... I took them
off and sold them.

should be driving with both hands on the steering wheel anyway.
