Buying a G from Ebay????
what do you guys think about buying a G or a car in general through Ebay?? I have heard a couple of people buying cars and not really having any problems.... plus if you get one with a good balance on the warranty you should be good if any mishaps occur. WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK??? Thanks.

I bought mine on ebay about six months back. Got an '03 DG 6mt with 5,057 miles on it. Premium package and aero kit, no nav. Paid 27k for it. have had no problems at all.
Definitely run a carfax. Definitely check the guys feedback. If there are any negatives you might even use the ebay mail system and check with the people that left negative feedback and ask for more info.
Personally I don't like to give a deposit on a car I haven't seen, so I try to make sure that I can take off the very next day and go buy the car. I have all my financing/money worked out before I ever even bid, and then I go and just pay for the whole thing at once rather than do a deposit. Then at least if the car isn't what was advertised you aren't out of a deposit if he doesn't give it back. I have had great experiences on ebay and would do it again in a second.

I feel if you have to get it shipped DON"T do it. Not that you can't trust people but why not just keep waiting your time to find something local enough that you can go get. Not everyone is a scamer, but we all know there are plenty of people out there. Do you really want to pay 30k and recieve something you're not happy with. Do you think you can just put the car back on the truck and get a no problem return/refund policy?

I have purchased 2 cars on eBay with great success and have also sold 3 cars on eBay (including the G). It's becoming a standard for selling used cars because the exposure you get is unparalleled. For $45 I advertised my car to literally millions of people. It really can't be beat. Just know the car you're looking for and don't be afraid to ask questions and request more pics.
