anything above 90 scares me nowadays... my Acura CL Type S I got up to 145 and my old civic (with a few mods ) I got up to around 165 according to my laptop GPS unit. everything past 110 I start to focus a lot on the road and conditions and start breaking a sweat just hoping that I don't trip over a piece of road debris or something. I'm a wuss I guess, just odn't wanna wreck ata that speed (seen it happen before, wasn't a pretty sight)

 

when I figure out how to get a camera set up...I'll show proof...everytime I've had a passenger with a camera....they panic telling me to slow down ussly around 140....I have been to 158...before the fuel bog

 

Too fast is when you and your car put other people and yourself at risk....

Know your car and what it can and cannot do....DO keep in mind that wear items WEAR (e.g., tires).....know your limitations.....BE careful.....and for God's sake, if you're going to speed, do it someplace where if you hurt someone, you can't hurt innocent people.

That being said, I like to speed just like the next guy.....but I always consider how me losing control could hurt people. If I'm going to push over triple digits and hold it for more the time to say "I DID IT!", I do it alone and late at night.

I got up to 121mph today....and shut it down immediately cause I ran out of road ....man that was fast!

I was having fun on the freeways last summer with my G vs a CLK 430. We were ave between 125-135 as we were zig zaggin through cars.. What a rush that was. I cant imagine what the cars we passed thought as we zipped past... Did 138 on straight away but only for a few seconds. Cops out here in Cali show no mercy for speeders.. I cant afford a ticket...

 

gone about 162mph on my 03 Yamaha R1 last year coming from a motorcycle stunt show...could've gone a little bit more, but, I left off cause it was getting too unstable...I could barely move my head at that speed and I don't plan on doing it again...

 

I imagine they were thinking something along the lines of, "Oh my God, these 2 dip****s are going to cause an accident being so blatantly retarded to speed like that while WEAVING in and out of traffic."

GROW UP and realize the stupidity involved. Going 135 on a freeway is already pushing things, so why go that fast while racing someone through thick traffic???

Should I be even more of an a**hole and take video then interview the people I pass and get their comments? 135 in the G is nothin to alot of the people in this forum and you dare to attack me. I had a dumb girl tryin to keep up with me in a Saturn Ion.. I slowed down to 95 so I could laugh at her as she was trying to handle the turn. End result... She lost control and smashed the center divider and then hit 2 other cars as she rolled back across 3 lanes. OHHHHH the look on her face as I passed. I was gonna see if she was OK but she shoulda knew better then to try to race a G with her plasic model of a car......

 

All these numbers and no pictures... Time for me to regulate.

See, you are a jackass. No two ways about it. You know what would happen if she had killed someone? YOU, yes you, could be prosecuted and sent to JAIL for your part in the race.

Don't believe me? A couple of years ago a guy in a C5 was racing someone else in a Diablo. Diablo goes into oncoming traffic, hits Volvo head on(with father, wife, and kids). Father dies on the scene in front of his family. Diablo driver and passenger careen into a parked schoolbus(luckily empty), burst into flames, instantly killing both occupants.

Corvette driver wrecks, lives, and is PROSECUTED and sent to JAIL for his participation in the race that killed the father, despite the fact that he didn't cause the initial wreck. It was the poor judgement of the Diablo driver.

So go ahead dipsh*t, continue thinking what you did was awesome. I just hope that I am not in your path when you are about to overtake me in the right lane going 135mph when your tire blows. It won't be pretty.

If you are going to speed on the highway, do it in a manner that won't affect other drivers if the sh*t hits the fan.
