A poll will show nothing. Too fast has too many variables to factor in. Weather conditions, experience, location, tire pressures, etc...

It is possible to go over redline ya know. But in this pic you really have no way of knowing one way or the other.

I think anything 10 to 15 or so MPH over the speed limit is beginning to get too fast on the highways. (80-85 MPH here in TX on most major highways)

As for city streets and residential neighborhoods I say that too fast is anything above the speed limit. Too many other risks running around that could set you up to hurt someone if you're not perceptive. At 3000+ lbs, a car can be a dangerous weapon against some poor pedestrian.

These are all of course in ideal conditions. With some bad weather I'd say driving below the speed limit is not such a bad idea.

My fuel cutoff is at 8K. Keep in mind this is a 5th gen prelude not a G. I have no speed limiter or governer of any kind. I managed to snap this pic with my old Audiovox 8900 before I hit fuel cutoff. If you don't believe me test drive a 1997-2001 Prelude and run it up to the top of 5th gear. Don't worry, the cars stable at this speed, just avoid major bumps or dips.

I don't need to defend myself. At least I have a picture to show for this... and thats much more than I've seen anyone else provide. I just joined this board the other day and from this post and others, there seems to be a lot of flamers on here.

So I guess around 150 MPH And that car was Dynoed at 330 WHP and 330 WTQ , AWD to boot! I was running 12.8's before it was tuned and that was only 260 WHP, so I know it was a low 12 sec car!

I have had the G up to 120, but I only have 800 miles on her, so I took it easy.

175-185 on my Suzuki GSXR 1100 w/ mods

You think its 'cool' what you did. This is crystal clear by the tone you use. I am not making a leap here. So yes, once again, I dare to attack you.

You invited the attack, cupcake.

See, you are a jackass. No two ways about it. You know what would happen if she had killed someone? YOU, yes you, could be prosecuted and sent to JAIL for your part in the race.

Don't believe me? A couple of years ago a guy in a C5 was racing someone else in a Diablo. Diablo goes into oncoming traffic, hits Volvo head on(with father, wife, and kids). Father dies on the scene in front of his family. Diablo driver and passenger careen into a parked schoolbus(luckily empty), burst into flames, instantly killing both occupants.

Corvette driver wrecks, lives, and is PROSECUTED and sent to JAIL for his participation in the race that killed the father, despite the fact that he didn't cause the initial wreck. It was the poor judgement of the Diablo driver.

So go ahead dipsh*t, continue thinking what you did was awesome. I just hope that I am not in your path when you are about to overtake me in the right lane going 135mph when your tire blows. It won't be pretty.

If you are going to speed on the highway, do it in a manner that won't affect other drivers if the sh*t hits the fan.

So once again, you win the prize.
You do not even know how much I was weaving in and out of cars here powderpuff... For your information it was not deep traffic and the cars were spread out alot. It was a Sunday afternoon on a wide freeway. There was at least 30 carlengths of space between cars and more at some points. Please think a lil more before you post a response.

As for your other remark a**grabber, you again do not know all the facts and jump to a conclusion. Nothing would have happened to me because i was not the result of the accident. I had slowed and moved over to the right of freeway so that I may exit. It was this time she was behind some in the fastlane. She continued on with her speed and then at this time crashed. She was ahead of me so I witnessed it all from behind. Cant cause an accident when im not near her now can I.

I am a good driver who thinks before I do. I do not drive at those speeds all the time. I live in Cali and know how horrible some CHP can be. Im glad u did 135 once. I have only done it twice but yet based off of my post you flag me as "proud of being BLATANTLY STUPID" Is that how you treat all your other friends who have exceeded the speed limit and put people at risk? The only difference between what u and I did was I did it with a few more cars but still under conditions that were still safe enough to allow me more than enough time to make appropriate decisions.

Enjoy your day ({})

135mph is right at 200ft/second. And at 30 car lenghts being about 600 ft. That means you were coming up on cars every 3 seconds. Do the math before you post.

Don't you mean 'cause' of the accident? Think before you post.

You fail to comprehend the point. You could have been 500ft away and STILL been found to have been partially liable. Ask a lawyer or look up similiar cases, this isn't an opinion, it's a fact. Think before you post.

Thanks, it was fun. Been faster in other cars though, and NOT while going through traffic.

YES! That is EXACTLY how I treat any of my friends who, may I quote you, 'put people at risk'! That is the whole point!!! THINK BEFORE YOU POST

Wrong, I have done it with ZERO cars around. That's right, 0.

You can't talk your way out of making dangerous decisions. Sorry, doesn't work like that.

Went as high as 143 and it was climbing too slowly. This was 3 AM and zero cars around, no cops either.
