Cleaning The G!!!
Honestly, you are going to have to try a few places around, and see how you like them.
Touchless car washes are a waste of your time, because they just plain will NOT get your car clean. The best option is to do one of the DIY wash bays. It's cheap, you can control everything, and you are right there to sponge it up, and wipe it down.

I definately recommend washing your car by hand but use Dawn only if you're planning on detailing/waxing your car afterwards. Dawn will remove wax that protects your paint. If you don't plan to apply another coat of wax after the wash, your paint will loose it's protective layer and this will show fading over the years. There are soap designed for cars and it's only a few dollars and a lot less harmful than the detergents found at car washes. As for the dealerships washing your car, all they do is drive it through a car wash. It doesn't take much brains to do that so I don't know how they earned such high regards in this person's opinion.

Make sure you get the free dealer wash when you have it in for warrenty service (as you will be seeing them a lot, be sure to take advantage of this) no one knows how to wash them better than the dealer does!

In Fact: I went thru it 2x more times... but with the sunroof & windows opens just to clean the interior as well!
