Hey man, I definately think that after a couple of runs you will find yourself working your way down into an 11.1 for sure. Take out any extra weight, and it will really fly. Get some video of a run at a track, I would be pumped to see it!

I am going with the top secret body kit. It is gonna look like the IP one in the bulletproof add at the top of this page minus the stickers

Great vid!
But IMO there are too many variables to be conclusive comparing randomly picked stock 04 and 05 for the acceleration performance that has only 18hp difference as listed with similar weight and shape (as they are both G35c).
Even with the same year, same model cars, say both 05 G35c 6M, I have read that hp can vary as much as 25hp on the same mass produced cars without precision balancing of parts and fit of engine and power train (as done on racing engines) so a lucky guy could get one that just happen to have engine and parts that are better balanced and fit off production line than the others by chance and that guy could have identical car that may produce actual power of 20hp or more than the less fortunate. Add drivers' skill and I think its too difficult to tell! Just my 2c.

Thanks for all the feedback guys. The white G is mine btw

Gdriver05: it was not clean in that pic. It had been accumulating dust for about a week. But then again, I use Zaino

Ashadiow: I don’t really get what you’re saying. Most people I’ve spoken to say its better just to leave the car in D. your shift points are still when rpm reaches redline. Hows the tiptronic faster? Btw, the train you heard is parallel to the track, so no worries

Who thinks my car looks girly?

Wow, in D my car shifts to early, if you can get the shift points right, you can run your car to the full 6500 rpms. And then the car starts in the next gear at a higher rpm which is good as well. You don't want your car to hit the limiter though it'll kill it. VDC off in Manual mode is my choice, I think if you run in both modes at the track you will have a better idea. I could definately be wrong here though, but if the tiptronic wasn't quicker what is the point? Anyways, that must be a really remote road, how did you get 2 runs on the same road? That is awesome. The train just reminded me of the fast and the furious, that was cool to have in the video.

NOtice that when 2 G's are street racing, no one complains, but when we talk about racing other cars we get flamed. That looked like fun, great vid, and I love that Ivory Pearl.
