This would probably be a closer race if he took out his big *** sub and had a manual but yeah.. anyways enjoy.. the quality is bad and yeah but its a vid none the less.. both cars hit about 110-120 before we shut it off. it seems the extra 18hp and higher redline on the 05s has allowed it to pull much harder in higher rpms.

how heavy is the sub? on the second race you pull on the white G pretty hard, but you have a passanger inside.

 

lol not that heavy.. less then the passenger.. he got a good head start on the 2nd one.. but it turned out to be a good vid =P

 

im not impressed with teh 05 6spd at all from this vid. sorry guys. i've taken an auto G with an injen CAI by much more with my 04.

i had a chance to race an 05 coupe this friday. (i have 04.5 6spd w/ injen cai he has an 05 6spd; both have exact same packages and even our cars look the same minus the wheel region) 2nd gear roll ~20mph to about 50 we ran EXACTLY identically. from a 3rd gear 60mph roll(organized by cell phones on the freeway) i had him by half a car around 80 and by a full car by the time we hit 100.

i believe our cars would run close to identically if i didnt have a CAI.. wheres the 18 hp?

20-about 50mph is considered a race? o.o.. our cars will go up to 50 like nothing from 20.. its like a 3-4 second or less race.. i really doubt you'll pull that much from a 3rd gear roll.. we did this run around 10 times.. if we start off from a roll i'll usually pull away towards the end of 4th and on.. anyways are you located in so cal? i'm still searching for a close to stock 04 6mt

also like i said.. the 2nd run was probably the worst runs.. but it was the best looking on camera.. all the other other runs were basically the same as the 1st run.. i'll get the jump (probably cause i get a clutch and he gets brakes xP) and stay ahead and pull from 4th gear on.. if u pay attention we had some bad communication in the run.. the white g left at "2" instaed of 3 and i spun through a good part of 1st

well in any case he was the better driver.. i've driven stick for about 4 months, hes had stick for like 4 years or maybe a bit more. plus driver skill doesnt come into play taht much in a race 60-100... and yah the 2nd gear roll was just a dash..

 

yah and klumzyee i'll make some runs with you as soon as i get my license back.. the G gets you speeding like a maniac and cops notice

and yah the auto is noticeably slower than the stick... when i raced an auto 04, id pull significantly esp starting somewhere around 3rd
