Buying a used 03 g35c. Need advice

so im looking into possibly buying a used 03 g35 coupe. do you think 25-27k is a reasonable price range for one under 30k miles loaded.

also is there a big difference between the 03 and 04 models? should i just wait and save up a few more gs to get a used 04. the thing is 27k is my maximum price i can afford for a car and like i said, i cant wait anymore. This will be my very first car of my own. was driving my dads minivan before this haha and i will not settle for anything but a g35!

does anyone know anyone selling a g35c in the NYC area. looking for only black interior. IP, DG or black exterior.

thanks

Dam 25-27 is a good price compared to prices in Socal. Im looking for one as well, and the cheapest 6 speed I have seen is about 28 for what your describing. Im sure auto is a little cheaper cuz there are so many more on the market. I know one difference, the 04 has a different console or something, could be wrong though.

You can easily get a 03 with about 20k miles for 27K not including nav. As for NYC area, it may be a little higher because of cost of living. Be prepared to fly somewhere or drive a little to save a few grand.

It honestly depends on your location. Sounds like a good price.

I paid $26.5k for my '03 about 4.5 months ago.

The 03 and 04 models are largely the same. I wouldn't hesitate on buying an 03 for a great price.

One of the changes that did occur was a change in the cd changer (made quicker for the 04). Plus, I'm sure the 04 would be a little safer as far as avoiding bugs, but Infiniti vehicles are generally always excellent in reliability.

I paid 30k for an '04 with 3k miles on it....but it was for an automatic and had no navigation (had everything else tho). I preferred getting an 04 because of all the problems people had with the 03. Besides those small issues, the 04s have a tire pressure monitor system and a faster cd changer... nothing major. The difference between the 04 and 05 seems to be bigger. As long as you have checked the history of the car and it doesn't have any problems... the 03 should be okay. And as with everything...if you wait, the price will drop. So it depends on how patient you can be... =P
